In 2013, Xintang’s rivers ran a deep blue and smelled foul, a result of manufacturers dumping chemical laden wastewater directly into local waterways.
My concept explored the idea of the river being personified having own memories and emotions. In a series of designs, I intend to show the story of the decline of Xintang’s river.
